Writing and the Imposter Syndrome
Event box
Even after we’ve been accepted to graduate school, completed a dissertation, or been a working professional or a tenured professor, many of us still battle our own imposter syndrome. In academia, our worries about whether we really belong can paralyze us at many stages in the research and writing process, or, in the worst scenario, keep us from writing at all. Join Maura Flannery and Anne Geller for a Faculty Writing Initiative conversation about imposter syndrome and the strategies that can give us writing confidence and help us build research and writing community to sustain us.
