The St. John's Institutional Review Board considers projects proposed by faculty, students, and administrators involving the use of humans or animals as participants in research.  This workshop will introduce the policies and procedures regarding the use of humans as subjects in research, including the IRB application and submission process.  It will also deal with when IRB approval is and is not necessary.
