Undergraduate research has long been recognized as a high-impact teaching practice, and many faculty members participated in undergraduate research while they were in college.  During this workshop we will discuss different methods of engaging students in undergraduate research, effective means of working with students in the laboratory and research settings, and how we can offer more opportunities for students interested in such experiences.
