Presenter: Maura C. Flannery, College of Professional Studies

The ‘scaffolding’ metaphor has been used for several years to describe how to support student learning, but what does it really mean?  As part of our continuing series on the basics of pedagogy, we’ll discuss several answers to this question.  These include what constitutes scaffolding in different disciplines and at various points in a student’s college career.

This workshop will be held in the Library room B3 on the Queens Campus and will be video conferenced to DAS 208 on the Staten Island Campus.
