The flipped classroom concept has become commonly used in many disciplines, but it tends to be connected to the sciences and mathematics.  For these areas, flipping usually means assigning videos for homework that cover the material, so that in-class time can be used for problem-solving and other forms of active learning.  But what about courses where there are no math problems to solve?  How can professors in these areas use the flipped classroom format?  Come with your ideas and questions for a discussion with humanities professors who have used the approach.
