Using video in your course, especially in an online/hybrid course can be very effective for increasing engagement.  It creates a sense of instructor presence and can help students understand difficult concepts better.  This workshop will show you how to get started incorporating video into your course.

  • Types of videos you can create.
  • Steps for creating a video: scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing.
  • Finding open access videos to include in your course.
