From Refworks to Zotero (Q/O)
Event box
The SJU Libraries are planning to retire our subscription to Refworks at the end of this contract period (6/30/2017). We recommend using ZOTERO citation manager. This session will offer an Introduction to Zotero, and offer hands-on help with transferring references from your RefWorks folders into your Zotero account.
2 IMPORTANT things to keep in mind if you “export” your RefWorks items for import into any new Citation system:
- Export a folder at a time if you want to maintain folder/organization structure
- Attached files DO NOT transfer (regardless of which new Bib manager they are exporting to, only citations export/import)
This workshop will be held simultaneously in St. Augustine Hall Library 307 and Online: http://sju.webex.com/meet/livermop
Note: If you are participating online, please log-in a bit early to ensure you have downloaded the Webex Add-on.
