NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:       

Compelled by Christian faith, in partnership with New Life Fellowship, New Life Community Development Corporation and others, New Life Community Health Center seeks to see lives transformed through the provision of ongoing excellence in health care oriented to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of immigrants and the under-insured of west/central Queens in New York City.

USD volunteers from COPHS include Clinical faculty AND 4th, 5th, or 6th year pharmacy and/or 3rd or 4th year physician assistant students. These volunteers will assist with health and wellness; blood pressure and glucose screenings, weight screening, eye exams, influenza vaccine administration, and education

LOCATION:

New Life Fellowship Church (with the large green elk outside the front door)

82-10 Queens Boulevard, Elmhurst, NY 11373

TIME:

8:30 am - 1:30 pm

USD volunteers will leave the Queens campus at approximately 8:30am and return to campus by 1:30pm.  Service time at the site is 9am-1pm.
