USD 2017: Ronald McDonald House of LI - Dinner (PARE)
NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:
The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island is a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children undergoing critical medical treatment in area hospitals.
USD volunteers use RMD House's kitchen facilities to prepare dinner for the families & children staying at the location (approximately 60-70 residents).

Tours are scheduled for 3:30pm. Dinner preparation may begin at 4:00pm and should be served at 6:00pm (typically 2 hours of preparation needed). USD volunteers should plan to spend an additional hour greeting residents and cleaning up in the kitchen.
