NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:    

Holy Temple Church Food Pantry is to support low income individuals and families. Holy Temple Church receives both perishable and non-perishable food from City Harvest, the Emergency Food Program, Feed the Children and other agencies.

USD volunteers may assis with the registration and intake of new clients, food bag preparation and distribution.

LOCATION (round-trip transportation provided from the Queens Campus):

136-25 Springfield Boulevard, Springfield Gardens, NY 11413

TIME:

USD volunteers should meet at St. Thomas More Church on the Queens Campus at 8:30am to be at the Food Pantry by 9:00am. The service experience will conclude by 1:00pm, returning to campus by 1:30pm.
