NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:       

St. Mary’s Hospital for Children is one of only a handful of hospitals around the country that is dedicated to providing intensive rehabilitation, specialized care, and education to children with special needs and life-limiting conditions. USD volunteers will participate in arts and crafts, singing, and other activities to entertain the children.

PLEASE NOTE: Your team will need to plan/organize the activity; dress is business casual attire.

LOCATION:

29-01 216th Avenue, Bayside, NY

TIME:

10:00am – 12:00pm

Volunteers should arrive at the site NO LATER than 10:00am.  Public transportation typically takes about 45 minutes from the Queens Campus.  The service project will conclude by 12 pm.
