To better understand how and why to incorporate and assess the addition of High Impact Practices (HIPs) into their courses, a panel of faculty members agreed to add one HIP to their courses during the Spring 2018 semester. The panel will discuss which practice they adopted and why. The faculty panel met at several points during the semester to discuss the process of planning, implementing, and assessing that practice on their courses.

This interdisciplinary panel will discuss their experiences over the semester, with a special focus on planning and meaningful assessment of the HIPs on the course outcomes. And finally, the panel will discuss how the adoption and implementation process could have been improved for better results.
