Screencasts can be useful when showing how to use a specific web tool or piece of software.  The person making the screencast uses the tool and its various functions while explaining what they are doing. Educators can create screencasts to illustrate a concept.  Students can also learn a concept by creating a screencast explaining that conmcept to others.
