Founder's Week 2023: Faculty Research Luncheon (Queens Campus)

As we celebrate Founder's Week 2023: "Be Vincentian: Be a Listener," join us for a personal and inspiring reflection by Heather C. Robertson, PhD, Associate Professor and Department Chair of Counselor Education at St. John's University. Dr. Robertson's research and advocacy efforts include Substance Abuse, Military and Veterans, Career Transition, Telemental Health Counseling/Training and Supervision, and reducing the stigma of Mental Illness and Addiction. She is also a current member of the seventh cohort of the Vincentian Mission Institute (VMI), a collaboration between the three Vincentian universities in the United States (St. John's, DePaul University and Niagara University). 

Additionally, St. John's faculty members will also be recognized at this event for their commitment to research in the areas of poverty and social justice, including:

  • 2023 Faculty Research Consortium (FRC) Endowment Grant ($5,000)
  • 2023 Faculty Excellence Award in Community-Based Outcomes and Poverty Research
  • 2022 - 2023 Ozanam Scholars Faculty Mentor Award
