Founder's Week 2023: Vincentian Service Opportunity - Card Making for Hospitalized Kids (Queens Campus)

NATURE AND PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:
Cards for Hospitalized Kids (CFHK) is an internationally recognized organization that aims to spread hope, joy & magic to hospitalized kids across America through uplifting, positive handmade cards. Over 500,000 kids in hospitals in all 50 states have received cards from CFHK since CFHK was created and that number continues to grow, spreading strength & smiles to as many hospitalized kids as possible.

Using CFHK's guidelines, USD volunteers will use their creativity to make handmade cards that will later be sent to CFHK for distribution to the children. No specific artistic skills are required - just a willingness to spread cheer and joy!

Please note: All supplies (e.g. construction paper, markers, etc.) will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have supplies to share!
