You are invited to attend a series of focus group discussions on how to teach crucial information literacy skills through an inclusive and equitable lens. Through a mix of discussing articles, pedagogy, and past experiences, we will analyze the role that information plays in constructing authority and controlling power, then consider how these topics can be integrated into discipline coursework, especially the Core Curriculum. These discussions will also help inform the University Libraries on how best to support information literacy instruction for all students in the future.

Thursday, November 7th, 2-3 pm: Analyzing Bias, Misinformation, and Fake News in the Classroom
