DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE: This service opportunity is currently limited to 
 St. John's employees from the Campus Facilities and Services 
 department.\n\nNATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE: \n\nRonald McDonald House 
 Charities (located in New Hyde Park\, LI) is a home-away-from-home for 
 families of seriously ill children undergoing critical medical treatment in 
 area hospitals.\n\nFollowing a tour of the facility\, St. John's employee 
 volunteers will use the kitchen on site to prepare a "homemade" dinner for 
 the families & children staying at the location (approximately 60-70 
 residents). All ingredients and cooking supplies will be provided.  Click

 11040\n\nTransportation to/from the Queens campus will be provided.
