NATURE AND PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:

The mission of the St. John’s University Veterans Success Center (VSC) is to support student veterans at St. John’s University in their pursuit of higher education. The Center assists student veterans with successful transitioning from military service to University life through networking opportunities, resources, community service, and advocacy. As part of a top university for military veterans, the VSC at St. John's aims to foster an environment honoring military service and improving the quality of their University experience.

Join the St. John’s University community in paying tribute to all those who have served this country by assisting with a celebration in their honor! Details are being worked out, but volunteer shifts may include the following:

- Set up room decorations and prepare for luncheon

- Assist with veteran arrival/start of luncheon/welcoming guests

- Clean up after luncheon
