NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE: 

Ronald McDonald House Charities (located in New Hyde Park, LI) is a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children undergoing critical medical treatment in area hospitals.

Following a tour of the facility, St. John's employee volunteers will use the kitchen on site to prepare a "homemade" dinner for the families & children staying at the location (approximately 60-70 residents). All ingredients and cooking supplies will be provided.  Click here for photos from January 2025, January 2026, April 2026 and July 2026. 

LOCATION:

267-07 76th Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040 (transportation not available).

Please arrive by 4:00pm and plan to stay until approximately 6:30pm.
