RSVP REQUIRED: Click here to register!

NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:

The Gaton Foundation's Give and Go Project provides monthly, curated, seasonal, culturally diverse, nutritionally-dense whole foods for free to students and families in the local area. This program aims to continue service to NYC's students outside of school, while in partnership with local schools for volunteers and space to host the project.

St. John's volunteers will begin with a brief overview, including a viewing of this video created by St. John's School of Education faculty member Dr. Eunhye Choi. Volunteers will then travel to the location to assemble food packages to be distributed to designated locations.
