NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:    

The League of Yes’ mission is to establish and sustain baseball programs for people (of all ages) with disabilities. Their objective is to provide an opportunity for those individuals to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing our national pastime.

USD volunteers assist the players at bat and help them navigate around the bases. When volunteers are in the outfield, they keep the kids entertained, but – most importantly – safe from flying balls.

TIME:

7:45am - 2:00pm

USD volunteers will meet at St. Thomas More Church on the Queens Campus at 7:45am, and will return to campus by 2pm. Transportation will be provided to/from Brookhaven Amphitheater League of Yes Field.
