NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:    

Holy Temple Church Food Pantry is to support low income individuals and families. Holy Temple Church receives both perishable and non-perishable food from City Harvest, the Emergency Food Program, Feed the Children and other agencies.

USD volunteers may assis with the registration and intake of new clients, food bag preparation and distribution.

LOCATION (round-trip transportation provided from the Queens Campus):

136-25 Springfield Boulevard, Springfield Gardens, NY 11413

TIME:

USD volunteers should meet by St. Thomas More Church at 8:30am and expect to return to campus by 1:30pm. If you are traveling on your own, please arrive at the service site no later than 9:00am.
