NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE: 

The goal of Cliffside Rehabilitation and Residential Healthcare Center is to create an environment that assures complete and speedy recovery and convalescence, but one that maintains optimum health as well.

USD volunteers will assist with transport of residents throughout the building and participate in recreational activities (playing games, performances, etc.). If possible, volunteers fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese are preferred as this will help in socializing with many of the residents.

LOCATION (round trip transportation provided from the Queens campus):

119-19 Graham Court, Flushing, NY 11354

TIME:

USD volunteers will meet at St. Thomas More Church on the Queens Campus at 9:00am, and will return to campus by 12:30pm. Transportation will be provided to/from the Cliffside Rehabilitation and Residential Healthcare Center. If you are traveling on your own, please do not arrive any later than 9:30am.
