NATURE & PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE: 

Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable, mobilizing the necessary resources to end hunger by 2030. Rise Against Hunger is driven by the vision of a world without hunger. 

Immediately following Opening Ceremonies on the Great Lawn, volunteers will meet at 9:30am in Taffner Fieldhouse (Queens campus) to engage in an interactive meal packaging experience resulting in more than 20,000 meals in just two hours.
