The Academic Center for Equity and Inclusion invites you to participate in the  Fall 2020 Book Club featuring How to Be An Antiracist by National Book Award winner and New York Times Best-selling author, Dr. Ibram X. Kendi.

The publisher writes, “Antiracism is a transformative concept that reorients and reenergizes the conversation about racism—and, even more fundamentally, points us toward liberating new ways of thinking about ourselves and each other...In How to Be an Antiracist, Kendi takes readers though a widening circle of antiracist ideas—from the most basic concepts to visionary possibilities—that will help readers see all forms of racism clearly, understand their poisonous consequences, and work to oppose them in our system and in ourselves.”

The book club will meet virtually from 3:25-4:40 pm on the following Wednesdays: September 16, September 30, October 14, October 28, November 18, and December 9.

Please note: Your initial registration will be registering you to attend all book clubs on the dates listed above.

You can purchase the book from online booksellers in print and audio formats.  A companion workbook has also recently been released.
