Co-Facilitators: Dr. Lisa Robinson, Ph.D. (she/her/hers) and Dr. Danielle Bacibianco (she/hers)

Workshop #2 "Don’t Let Your Inner Saboteur Get In Your Way: From How We Teach to Shaping an Out-Loud Syllabus" will focus directly on the exploration of syllabus activities, readings, and assignments.  We want to make sure that everyone walks out of this workshop with practical lesson plans and activities to be applied directly to syllabi. Depending on each instructor’s core discipline, these potential units and activities can shift along with any underlying field.

NOTE: Participation in Workshop #1 is not required for participation in Workshop #2 (but we hope that all will attend both!).

This workshop series is organized by the SJC Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) Interdisciplinary Minor program, in allyship with the SJU LGBTQ Center, and supported by an Inclusive Teaching Fellows Grant from the Academic Center for Equity and Inclusion (ACEI).

For additional information, please contact Amy Gansell, Ph.D., WGSS Coordinator, and Associate Professor, Art History, Department of Art and Design, St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, gansella@stjohns.edu.

*Please note: This event will be hybrid, the first 20 individuals that register indicating an in-person preference will be served first. A WebEx link will be e-mailed prior to the event.*
