Being a Fulbright scholar offers opportunities to study, teach, conduct research, and exchange ideas internationally, allowing scholars to return home to share these experiences and knowledge with students and colleagues.  Fulbright grants take many forms.  Please join us to learn about Fulbright opportunities and application processes from a panel of experts, including St. John’s University Fulbright alumni and from the broader Fulbright community.

Please feel free to contact Zoe Petropoulou (petropoz@stjohns.edu) with any questions.

 Panelists:

  • Adria L. Baker, Ed.D., Associate Vice Provost for International Education, Executive Director, Office of International Students & Scholars, U.S. Fulbright Scholar Alumni Ambassador, Rice University
  • Emma Bettiol, M.A., Senior Program Officer for the Africa and South & Central Asia regions at World Learning

  • Maddie Ivanovich, M.A., Program Officer for the Fulbright Specialist Program and manages grants in East Asia, the Pacific, and parts of the Western Hemisphere
